Day 4 of the One Word Challenge

| View in browser DAY 4 LESSON Live Your Word   It’s powerful to pick One Word for the year. It’s even more powerful to live it.   It won’t happen by accident. You have to be intentional. One year my word was serve and I made a list of three ways I was going to put the word Serve into action.   Since I was traveling to speak at events I decided I would serve people sitting near me on the plane by putting their carry on bag into the overhead bin. As we know, carry on bags are often heavy and people appreciated me lifting their bags up into the bin and also taking them down for them.   Another way I served was at home. I made a deal with myself that whatever my wife asked me to do, I had to do. I didn’t tell her about this deal. That could have been dangerous. But she clearly noticed the way I served her and our children because at the end of the year she asked me if my word next year was going to be "selfish" because she never saw me do so much.   The third and final way I put my One Word into action was to serve people by encouraging them. This led me and my team to create more free tools and challenges like this to serve others and make a difference.   Take Action   To live your word identify three ways you will put your One Word into action. Don’t make it complicated. Simple is powerful. What are three practical steps or actions you can take to live your word? Write them down.   -Jon   P.S., Let me know how you'll live out your One Word.
